On our Cruz Learn & Travel program, you will enhance your Spanish skills while also having the time to pursue professional goals and explore Latin America.
To ensure an optimized learning experience, you will be placed with fellow learners according to your level, and you will be able to customize the level of fluency you would like to commit to.
On this Learn & Travel program, you can expect:
Group Spanish classes taught by an instructor

Your journey begins in Asia, where you will experience the transition from fall to winter in a region steeped in incredible culinary, cultural, and historical traditions. Lose yourself in the narrow streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, admire elaborate Buddhist temples in Chiang Mai, wander among the terraced rice paddies of Bali, savor street food in Osaka-this region is sure to inspire and delight.
Continue the adventure in Europe, soaking up sun as spring arrives to the region’s most colorful coastal towns. Spend your days listening to live Fado music in Lisbon, visiting centuries-old landmarks in Valencia, or navigating the ancient streets of Diocletian’s palace in Split.
You will also make a stop in Cape Town, a bustling port city located on the southernmost tip of Africa. Here you will enjoy dramatic mountain views, walk among penguins as you stroll the stunning coastline, sip world-renowned local wines, and connect with South Africa’s natural beauty.
Cap off your life-changing year of travel in Latin America as you explore an exciting mix of majestic mountains, beguiling beaches, and metropolitan cities buzzing with life. Enjoy panoramic cliffside views of the Pacific in Lima, hit the beach in Florianopolis, discover history and street art in Medellin’s Comuna 13, and search for the best tacos in town as you explore Mexico City.
You will be staying in comfortable private bedrooms in a mix of 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses as well as hotels. In some destinations, you may even be staying in a private, one-bed hotel room.
All Remote Year accommodations are located in top neighborhoods that offer a mix of local and international flavors, and are always within walking distance from the workspace. You’ll love the great location, culturally-rich atmosphere, and easy access to countless activities.
There may be options to upgrade to a private apartment after booking.
