How does Remote Year approach customer safety?

Remote Year participants’ safety is our top priority. We’ve taken concerted efforts to ensure that participants have an optimal experience while on program.

City Previews

Upon arrival in each destination, participants are given an in-depth presentation on the do’s and don’ts of that city by members of the Remote Year City Team. Participants receive information on the city’s safety protocols, current political happenings, and views on diversity.

International SOS

We work with the leader in global safety and security, ISOS, to decide where to go (and where not to go), and provide emergency assistance services to Remote Year participants on program.

Staff Support

Each program is equipped with a Program Leader that travels with you throughout your entire program to provide you with great customer service throughout your Remote Year experience.
