What do I need to join Remote Year?

To join Remote Year, you must meet a few requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years old
• You must be engaged in a professional pursuit*
• You must be able to financially support yourself
• You must be able to speak English conversationally

If you meet the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to complete an application and speak to a member of our team about joining a Remote Year program.

*What is professional pursuit, you ask?

A professional pursuit is a project, career, or passion that you’re working on while on program. Remote Year is a work and travel program, so it’s expected that you’ll have a larger goal to chase while traveling the world.
